Meet Dr. Patel

Dr. Rutva Patel is a dedicated and highly skilled Associate Dentist currently practicing in Modesto, California. With a passion for providing comprehensive patient care and a keen interest in advancing clinical knowledge in aesthetics, implants, and complicated extractions, Dr. Patel has rapidly become a respected professional in the dental community.

Dr. Patel embarked on her journey in dentistry at the prestigious New York University (NYU), School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2023. Prior to her dental education, she laid a strong foundation with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (Honors) from York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, which she completed in 2019.

Upon completion of her DDS, Dr. Patel joined Modesto Kidz Dental in Modesto, CA, where she specializes as a Kids Dentist. Here, she provides a wide range of dental services to kids patients, including examinations, cleanings, restorations, pulpotomy, stainless steel crowns (SSCs), extractions, and space maintainers. Dr. Patel is committed to educating parents and children on oral hygiene and preventative care, ensuring each visit is as pleasant and stress-free as possible.

Before her current role, Dr. Patel honed her skills and knowledge at the NYU College of Dentistry, working as an Associate Student Dentist. This role saw her providing comprehensive care, managing patient schedules, and performing various dental procedures including restorations, crowns, bridges, complete dentures, removable partial prosthesis, and root canal treatments.

Dr. Patel has demonstrated leadership qualities throughout her academic and professional career. Notably, she served as an Elected Member and Student Coordinator for the NYUCD Aesthetics Club from 2020 to 2021. Her involvement extended to various professional organizations, including the American Dental Education Association and the American Student Dental Association, among others.

Her commitment to community service is evident through her volunteer work with the Head Start Pediatric Dental Outreach at NYU College of Dentistry, the Honors Aesthetics Department, and the Oral Cancer Walk – Dental Outreach. These experiences underscore her dedication to dental health and education in her community.

Dr. Patel's academic excellence was recognized with her inclusion on the Dean's Honor Roll for her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at York University. She also holds a certification in Bharatnatyam from the Archan School of Classical Dance, showcasing her diverse talents and interests. Her scientific curiosity led her to research, notably quantifying DNA functionalized gold nanoparticles in cells, which was the subject of her undergraduate thesis paper.
